Stumbled across by coincidence while foraging for botanicals, I discovered a clearing in a local woodland with a thick carpet of wild strawberries. Using a wicker basket, I gently took several handfuls of the strawberries and left the rest for woodland creatures. Once home and sorted out on my work desk, I carefully separated each one and put them in our drying room. After several weeks, the delicate wild strawberries were ready to be preserved.

This pendant contains only the strawberry fruit and not the stem or heads, creating a medley of juicy abstraction.
