Incredibly delicate and coloured like porcelain, the wild strawberry flower is as sweet as the fruit that develops from it. 

Growing in wild abundance in my favourite woodland in Angus, these tiny flowers usually drop their petals at the slightest touch. I have only managed to preserve one in perfect form after many years of trial.
